Don't be limited by ArchiCAD's libraries, especially when you want to get some good views of your building and need to add that extra level of detail.
Using the Google Earth Connection Tool you can import objects from the 3D warehouse.










And for those who don't want to program in GDL to make objects, or are frustrated with ArchiCAD's tools, you can build objects in Sketchup (free version) and import them with this tool.

And finally- what about the other direction? Want to give the client (or yourself) a model you can explore without access to ArchiCAD? Save it out as a *.3ds file (from the 3D window) and open that with sketchup....
